At-One-Ment - - for Monday October 06

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:6

The religionist speaks of Deity as God, or "the Lord God." Many physical scientists refer to Deity as pure Principle or First Cause. Yeshua called this One Life Principle, “the Kingdom within,” Paul referred to this same Principle as the “Christ in you.” He thought of it as a personal Saviour, a divine Master-Presence. Ralph Waldo Emerson called it “the Over-Soul.” Walt Whitman spoke of it as “my Greater Self.” But no matter how many names are given it, we all have our being in just one omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent God.

There is only one Source, one creative Principle that is Parent of us all. We are children or expressions of the One, in constant contact with the One, as the waves are one with the ocean, and as a branch is one with the tree.

Our Father never brings hurt or heartache or punishment. Our Father is too pure to behold iniquity. Our Father does not destroy; Divine Spirit heals. All so-called punishment is self-imposed. It is the result of our failure to live righteously, our failure to love.

The moment I begin to live truly and to love, I am restored, for Life is Love and eternal wholeness.
