At-One-Ment - - for Monday October 13

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Proverbs 16:32

Divine Science, as well as psychosomatic medicine, teaches that thoughts have a way of becoming conditions and experiences; that if a situation is becoming unbearable, we cannot manipulate it or modify it outwardly, but must change in the realm of causation. We must develop a new attitude, take a new approach.

We are reminded by leading teachers that anger, resentment, and blaming others cause warfare within the flesh. We must look at our experiences squarely and, even through agony, shames, and regret, admit that some of the wrongs cannot be undone. But attitude can be harmonized. It is possible to become objective concerning ourselves. After all, we are all children in process and every single one, without exception, has made mistakes.

Do I want to be healed? Do I want to be released? The choice is mine. If I sincerely say, “Yes,” then I can always turn to the Presence within and accept God's love as the law of my life.

I declare: “From this hour I choose to forgive whoever has given me offense. I give you back your freedom; I release you.” And as I release, so I am released. As I bless, I am blessed.

At-One-Ment - - for Monday October 06

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:6

The religionist speaks of Deity as God, or "the Lord God." Many physical scientists refer to Deity as pure Principle or First Cause. Yeshua called this One Life Principle, “the Kingdom within,” Paul referred to this same Principle as the “Christ in you.” He thought of it as a personal Saviour, a divine Master-Presence. Ralph Waldo Emerson called it “the Over-Soul.” Walt Whitman spoke of it as “my Greater Self.” But no matter how many names are given it, we all have our being in just one omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent God.

There is only one Source, one creative Principle that is Parent of us all. We are children or expressions of the One, in constant contact with the One, as the waves are one with the ocean, and as a branch is one with the tree.

Our Father never brings hurt or heartache or punishment. Our Father is too pure to behold iniquity. Our Father does not destroy; Divine Spirit heals. All so-called punishment is self-imposed. It is the result of our failure to live righteously, our failure to love.

The moment I begin to live truly and to love, I am restored, for Life is Love and eternal wholeness.

At-One-Ment - - for Sunday October 05

Till we all come ... unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:13

What a challenge for cosmic living lays in the words above. What hope for our days as we realize that the full blossoming of the Christ within is awaiting our recognition. We ponder the words “the fullness of Christ.” To be full means no space vacant, not a corner empty, not a shadow visible. No room is left for doubt, anxiety, fear, condemnation, or regret when we realize the “fullness of Christ.”

Yeshua said that if our inner eye is single, if we see only the reality within and behind every experience, then the body itself is filled with light. This is the secret of eternal health.

In other ages the cross was used as a symbol of renunciation and sacrifice. In this age it could be the symbol of man, made perfect in the likeness of the son of God, awakened into the realization of his oneness with the Father.

When standing erect with arms outstretched, the body forms a living cross. And when this temple of the Spirit is filled full of the love and light of Christ, it becomes a cross of light, a radiating center of God’s own life.

At-One-Ment - - for Monday September 29

At-One-Ment - - for Monday September 29

I affirm: I rejoice in the lessons that life teaches me.

The son of God should be about his Creator's business. The conscious son of God is about his God's business. In his new sense of power he keeps himself above criticism and unkind remarks, and finds these things are no longer in his own life. He is busy and constructive, for thus he sees the Creator's work. His heart sings with joy, for he has found the great secret of life; his divine sonship; his sense of eternal selfhood; his oneness with God.

The purpose of his life is becoming clear to him and doubt and sorrow have fallen away. He actively cooperates with that which he conceives to be the truth of life; thus he becomes an active partner with God.

He joyfully opens to Divine Mind and follows its guidance. Life is a glorious experience, for the God-man has found the Christ within himself. Gladly, fully, and freely he follows God's guidance and knows that now and forever he is in God's presence.

My life is in God. My work is in God. My success is in God. My consciousness is in God. Yeshua said: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one.“
I am thankfu!
